Photography is a more recent hobby of mine, but I enjoy it because it motivates me to get out of the house and find beauty in mundane things..
Here are some photos I've taken recently:
02/20/2026: It was beautiful outside, even if the morning felt like hyperborea. After leaving school, I randomly decided I was going to climb a hill, and I eventually settled on a hill containing the "Berthiaume Lookout Point" on Google Maps because, despite its propinquity, I'd never gone. I never got the whole way there because I met a serene banked hill with these California Poppies. I stayed until sunset before heading home.
02/16/2026: Dinermaxxing with Adam for his birthday was a success (by my standards). After, we decided to visit the Anayi "house" because it was nearby. We showed up and waited for our friend who chose to walk all the way to the "house" in the pouring rain. Eventually, Thomas let us in and a mansion greeted us. We spent 15 minutes just admiring the place before proceeding to act like children for 3 hours.
02/15/2026: I put a lot of effort into my gift for Adam's 17th bday, and I wanna continue that trend. Anyways, after finishing my magnum opus of a card for him, I realized I couldn't get a special gift for him in time, so I decided to drive to the store to get him some Red Bull because he lives off that stuff. Meanwhile, the sky was beautiful. I did a double take leaving the garage and had to pause to take pictures before I left. I got the Red Bull and met some friends at my old elementary school. We got on the roof to get a ball then messed with the Tesla features (like a megaphone?? xD).
02/13/2026: I thought I was stuck with the same people for the rest of the year but this semester has definitely proved me wrong so far. Adam, Logan, and I had breakfast at Saugus Cafe before going to Castaic Lake. I learned that there were several more people showing up and wasn't sure how to feel, but once everyone was there I realized it was actually fine. I definitely didn't expect to become friends with Keira; we barely exchanged remarks besides about her outfit and eating the leaves of a strawberry. But she's goated and highkey fine. Didn't catch any koifishes though :(
02/10/2026: Technically this counts as my first protest. Our school (like every other school in the valley) had an ICE walk-out in February, and I showed up because I thought it would be an interesting experience and because I could skip 6th period to hang out with like-minded people. My 6th period (guitar) teacher had fully supported the demonstration and wished he could be there himself, so shoutout him. I didn't intend to stay for the whole event, but my mom showed up and from there we just participated. At the end, I drove Esme to her house after a rumor started of ICE being nearby.
02/06/2026: Milball was quite the experience. I was misled into thinking it was Saturday and ended up making conflicting plans, but I just went to both functions. Before (5pm), me and my friends from the other high school met up at the mall and ate Auntie Anne's. They then taught me how to skate in the abandoned Sears parking lot. We also used Ian's car for purposes (hanging onto the back while on a board and riding in the trunk with it open). I then changed into my suit (to commit to the bit) and left for milball. I did not have a ticket because I missed the cutoff, but figured if I showed up in a suit and had a friend walk me in, it would go fine. Nick 2 met me outside and the rest is history. Still can't believe Cameron Boden was freshman king.
